542 children have been killed and over 1289 injured as a result of Russia's full-scale armed aggression in Ukraine since February 2022.

During the full-scale aggression of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine, 1831 children suffered - as of April 11, 2024, 542 children died. This was reported by UNN with reference to the Office of the Prosecutor General.

Details

According to official information from the juvenile prosecutors, between February 2022 and the morning of April 11, 2024, 542 children were killed and more than 1289 were injured of varying severity as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation.

In total, more than 1,831 children have suffered at the hands of the occupiers in Ukraine. Most children were affected in the following regions: Donetsk - 529, Kharkiv - 346, Kherson - 149, Kyiv - 130, Dnipro - 130, Zaporizhzhia - 107, Mykolaiv - 103.

On April 9, a 12-year-old boy died as a result of enemy shelling of Kostyantynivka, Donetsk region.

On April 10, a 4-year-old girl was killed and a 4-year-old boy was injured as a result of shelling by Russian troops in the town of Chornomorsk, Odesa region, a 10-year-old girl died and a 4-year-old girl was injured.

On April 10, a 13-year-old girl was killed and a 16-year-old boy was wounded as a result of shelling by the occupiers of Liptsi, Kharkiv district, Kharkiv region.
