Ukraine is discussing with its partners the possibility of deploying European troops to train Ukrainian brigades. According to Olga Stefanishyna, it is a matter of time and a pragmatic solution to strengthen defense capabilities.

Ukraine is talking to its partners about the deployment of European troops in the country, including for training and education of the Ukrainian military. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration and Minister of Justice Olha Stefanishyna in a conversation with journalists, adding that it is only a matter of time, UNN reports.

"Today I see that we have to keep our allied countries in focus. Of course, we are talking about training, training of the Ukrainian military. Today we see this as an element of equipping Ukrainian brigades, meaning that we ensure that the brigades are manned, they must be provided with training and, accordingly, equipment. So I think it is only a matter of time before training takes place on the territory of Ukraine, because if we are talking about equipping more than 10 Ukrainian brigades that could hold back and advance on the front, releasing combat-ready brigades is an absolutely pragmatic solution that we are moving towards. We are discussing this with our European partners," Stefanishyna said.
