NABU has documented pressure on experts in a case concerning the legalization of 460 million UAH in construction funds. SBU employees may be involved in the incident.

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau has reported recorded instances of pressure on experts within the investigation into the legalization of 460 million UAH in elite construction near Kyiv. This was announced during a briefing by NABU Director Semen Kryvonos, reports UNN.

According to Kryvonos, the investigation requires a large volume of international cooperation, expert examinations, and evidence analysis.
To conduct this investigation, it is necessary to compare conversations recorded at various stages of documenting this criminal activity with other objective circumstances. It involves conducting a series of expert examinations, sending a huge volume of requests for international legal assistance, and conducting relevant interrogations
Kryvonos reported that during the investigation, attempts to influence an expert conducting research in the case were recorded.
Pressure was recorded on an expert who was supposed to carry out the relevant examination within this case. Corresponding database searches regarding these experts were performed, and an unknown person approached the expert, delivering a signal regarding the impossibility of proceeding with this examination
He also stated that the investigation is checking the possible involvement of SBU employees in this.

According to him, if sufficient evidence is gathered, those responsible may be held accountable.
