However, social protection remains a top priority, with UAH 420.9 billion allocated for it. In 2025, social spending will focus on four main areas of assistance.

In 2025, UAH 19.7 billion will be allocated to support low-income families.

"These expenditures will be enough to protect the most vulnerable low-income families," the statement said.

The level of providing the subsistence minimum for children (+5%) and able-bodied persons (+5%) will increase.

For the social protection of Ukrainians who have fallen into difficult life circumstances, UAH 81.8 billion is provided. for internally displaced persons (IDPs), accommodation payments will remain:

- UAH 3 thousand for people with disabilities and children;

- UAH 2 thousand for other persons.

In addition, UAH 42.3 billion has been allocated for housing subsidies to help Ukrainians cope with rising housing and utility costs.

Support for people with disabilities

The number of Ukrainians with disabilities is growing due to the war, so support for this category has become especially important.

- UAH 6.7 billion will be allocated to provide rehabilitation services, quality care and modern prosthetics.

- UAH 1 billion to rehabilitate children with disabilities so that they have a chance for an active future.

Every child deserves a family

The state seeks to create conditions for all children to grow up in a family environment.

"We are strengthening our focus on family education, so we are increasing the cost of appropriate funding," the report says.

Main directions:

* UAH 251.7 million-to support foster carers (+317%);

- UAH 1.07 billion to help orphans raised in families.

Innovations in social services

UAH 1.6 billion has been allocated for the development of modern social services, which is 50% more than this year.

Special attention will be paid:

- creation of Resilience Centers for psychosocial support (UAH 604.8 million);

- care for the elderly and IDPs on the principle "money follows the person" (UAH 366.9 million);

- payment for day care for children with disabilities (UAH 328.6 million).

The Ministry of Social Policy added that the government will continue to seek additional resources, including through international partners, to ensure a decent life for those who need it most.
