Mobilization in the RF threatens a massive blow to the economy and labor market - intelligence

Another mobilization in the RF will cause a labor shortage and mass emigration of specialists. War expenditures will become unsustainable for the deficit-ridden state budget.

A potential new wave of mobilization in Russia could become not only a serious social upheaval but also a catalyst for a large-scale economic crisis, the consequences of which will be felt for years. This was reported by the Foreign Intelligence Service, according to UNN.

Experts emphasize that the mass withdrawal of Russians from the economy amid a labor shortage will only worsen the situation in Russia. After all, modern warfare depends not so much on the number of troops as on the level of technical equipment, communication systems, and electronic warfare. Therefore, the military effectiveness of large-scale mobilization is questionable.
Political scientists also warn that a new wave of mobilization could trigger a mass exodus of Russians abroad. While some emigrants returned to the Russian Federation after the 2022 mobilization, this time high-skilled specialists may leave the country for good, dealing an even greater blow to the economy.
Separately, attention should be focused on Russia's financial difficulties. The Russian budget deficit has already exceeded planned figures several times over, and providing for hundreds of thousands of mobilized personnel will require unsustainable expenditures
