The mayor of Ternopil reported the worst situation with electricity during the war after an enemy attack. Trolleybuses and elevators are not working in the city, and heating stations are being restored.
Due to the enemy attack in Ternopil, the situation with electricity is the worst in the entire period of full-scale war. This was reported by the mayor of the city, Serhiy Nadal, on one of the Ukrainian TV channels, UNN reports.
Nadal answered the question about the power engineers' forecasts of when the electricity might be restored:
"I can't give a clear answer, they will work during the day, as there is serious damage and everything depends not only on the work of power engineers but also on the possibility of obtaining additional electricity.
Commenting on whether the situation with electricity is the most critical in the entire period of the full-scale war in Ternopil, Nadal said that it is indeed the worst.
In fact, yes, it is worse than it was in previous periods, but I think that if we continue to work as we are currently doing, we will be able to restore it as soon as possible, and all infrastructure facilities will be operational. In addition, starting today, we are resuming the operation of heating and indestructibility
In addition, the mayor said that the city cannot currently launch trolleybuses because there is not enough capacity.
"That is why the number of buses has been increased. Kindergartens and schools will work, partly due to regular electricity, partly due to the operation of generators," Nadal said.
Addendum
In Ternopil, elevators are not working as a result of an enemy attack that damaged the power grid. Water supply should be restored to all consumers.
