The Defense Council of Chernihiv region has decided on mandatory evacuation from 12 border settlements. About a thousand residents remain in these villages, including 120 children.

In the Chernihiv region, the defense council, at the request of the military, decided on mandatory evacuation from 12 border settlements starting July 1. This was reported by the head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, Vyacheslav Chaus, writes UNN.

These are Prybyn, Shyshkivka, and Rudnya of the Koriukivka territorial community, Lemeshivka and Moshchenka of the Horodnia community, Vorobyivka, Kamin, Kamyanska Sloboda, Karabany, and Chaikyne of the Novhorod-Siverskyi community, and Gazoprovidne and Oleksandrivka of the Semenivka community.

He emphasized that the algorithm of actions has already been developed. Residents will be informed about assembly points. All necessary services are involved. Evacuation routes and transport have been approved. Resettlement of people is a mandatory condition.
Temporary accommodation will be provided. We must complete the evacuation within two months
