Kursk Oblast: The Governor Reported the Evacuation of the Entire Glushkovsky District

The government of the Kursk region of the Russian Federation has announced the mandatory evacuation of the entire Glushkovsky district. The decision was made by the regional operational headquarters, and the departure process will be coordinated by law enforcement agencies and local authorities.
Following the decision to evacuate locals from the town of Glushkovo, the governor of the Kursk region, Alexey Smirnov, announced a decision to forcibly evacuate the entire district as well, reports UNN.
"The regional operational headquarters has made a decision on the mandatory evacuation of the entire Glushkovsky district", - Smirnov wrote on Telegram.
According to him, the law enforcement agencies together with the local authorities will coordinate the process of the departure of local residents.

A couple of hours earlier, the governor announced the mandatory evacuation of the town of Glushkovo.
According to Russian media, the population of the Glushkovsky district before the war was about 20,000 people.
