Russian troops attacked Kherson in the evening and overnight, including hitting a store where a fire broke out, Ukraine's State Emergency Service said on Monday. The head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, showed the consequences of the enemy shelling, UNN reports.

At night, residents of Kherson woke up to powerful explosions. A shell hit a store in one of the residential neighborhoods, causing a fire, the State Emergency Service reports.
Rescuers reportedly managed to extinguish the fire within 20 minutes.
The head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, also reported on the evening shelling of Kherson the day before.
"Last night the Russian army attacked Kherson once again. Residential buildings, an administrative building, and a medical facility came under enemy fire. The occupants also shelled the house of an elderly Kherson resident. At that moment, an 84-year-old woman was in the yard," Prokudin wrote on Telegram, showing the consequences of enemy shelling.
According to him, the woman was diagnosed with an explosive injury and a head wound. She was provided with medical assistance on the spot, the head of the DEC noted.
