Ukrainian air defense shot down five Russian Su-34s over the week, citing improved tactics and skills of Ukrainian troops that have affected enemy morale.

A representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Andriy Yusov, said during a telethon that the downing of five enemy Su-34 aircraft in a week was due to the skill of Ukrainian soldiers, UNN reports.

"The point is not only that the enemy has relaxed, but that Ukrainian defenders and air defenders in particular are improving their skills. They are looking for new tactics and successfully find and obtain new means to destroy the enemy. As we can see, the enemy often does not immediately understand how to deal with this and how to respond to it. Of course, this also affects the moral and psychological state of enemy pilots, who will be less willing to carry out any criminal orders after each such successful case for us," said Andriy Yusov.
