Israeli settlers attacked a CNN film crew in the West Bank. Police detained four suspects on suspicion of involvement in the attack.

Israeli settlers attacked journalists, including a CNN crew, while they were working in the occupied West Bank. Israeli police detained four people on suspicion of involvement in the incident. CNN reports, writes UNN.

The attack occurred near the village of Sinjil, where journalists had arrived to cover the anniversary of the death of Palestinian-American Saif Musallet, who, according to the TV channel, was beaten to death by Jewish settlers last year.
According to CNN, a group of settlers blocked the journalists' road with a car. They were armed with wooden and metal clubs, stones, and one of the attackers had a knife and tried to puncture the tires of the TV channel's car. The settlers also smashed the windshield of another car in which the journalists were traveling.
Police announced the detention of suspects
The Israel Police and the Israel Defense Forces take any acts of violence or damage to property very seriously, especially when it involves media workers doing their job
Law enforcement officials said that upon arriving at the scene, they detained four suspects. Clubs and a knife were seized from their car.
The incident occurred a few days after US Congressman Ro Khanna said that he was also detained by Israeli settlers during a visit to another Palestinian town in the West Bank.
