Two children born in 2016 and 2019 with carbon monoxide poisoning were hospitalized in Rivne Regional Hospital. The circumstances of the incident are currently under investigation.
Two children with carbon monoxide poisoning were hospitalized at the Rivne regional hospital, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported on Saturday, UNN reports.

"In Rivne, children were poisoned by carbon monoxide," the report says.
It is stated that on December 28, the rescuers received information that two children were hospitalized in the regional hospital: a boy born in 2019 and a girl born in 2016 with a diagnosis of carbon monoxide poisoning.
The circumstances of the incident are being investigated.

According to the State Emergency Service, carbon monoxide poisoning most often occurs due to lack of draft in chimneys, violation of the rules for using gas and ventilation systems.
