In Lviv, a 25-year-old man fatally wounded a 55-year-old TCC employee with a knife. A police officer wounded the attacker, who was detained.
In Lviv, on August 21, during a document check, a man pulled out a knife and fatally wounded a 55-year-old employee of a territorial recruitment and social support center. This was reported by Maksym Kozytskyi, head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, and the police later clarified the circumstances of the attack, UNN writes.

According to law enforcement officials, the wounded recruitment center employee died in an ambulance. Preliminary reports indicate that the attack was carried out by a 25-year-old resident of Lviv.
During the attack, a police officer used his service firearm to avert the threat and fired two shots at the attacker. The man sustained a leg injury and was hospitalized.
The attacker was detained
Maksym Kozytskyi, head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, confirmed the death of the recruitment center serviceman and reported that the attacker had been detained.
