A 52-year-old man was detained on suspicion of threatening passers-by and firing a gun while drunk. The police detained the attacker in the Industrial District, seized the weapon and opened a criminal investigation for hooliganism.
In Kharkiv, a man was detained on suspicion of threatening passers-by and firing a gun while drunk, criminal proceedings have been opened, and the weapon was seized, the Kharkiv regional police reported on Tuesday, UNN reports.
On the street, a drunk man was harassing passersby, insulting them and threatening them with physical violence. Then he took out a gun and fired a shot in their direction. No one was injured
Law enforcement officers arrived at the scene, where they reportedly found the attacker and seized the weapon from him. "The offender was a 52-year-old Kharkiv resident," the police said.
Police detained the man in the Industrial district of the city.
The physical evidence was seized and sent for expert examination.
A criminal proceeding was opened under Part 4 of Article 296 (hooliganism) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
