The CEO of Ingka Group said that it is difficult to keep low prices for IKEA products due to Trump's new customs tariffs. The company will have to adapt to new conditions, which may affect the availability of products.

The CEO of IKEA, the owner of furniture stores, explained that after the introduction of import duties planned by Donald Trump, it will be problematic to keep low prices for the company's goods. This is reported by CNN, reports UNN.

Jesper Brodin, CEO of Ingka Group (the company that owns IKEA furniture stores), said in an interview with CNN that the customs tariffs announced by Trump will not support international companies and international trade. In the end, this will hit the consumer's wallet.

"Tariffs make it difficult for us to maintain low prices and ensure accessibility for many people, which is ultimately our goal.",

Jesper Brodin said.

He mentioned that his company has always gone through difficult times when high tariffs were in effect. " this is beyond our control. We will need to understand and adapt," Brodin added.
