How Russia's "double strike" tactics against Ukrainian rescuers and police work
Kyiv • UNN
Russian forces deliberately used a "double strike" tactic, hitting rescuers and police officers who were assisting victims of a previous Shahid drone attack in Kharkiv, wounding a rescuer and a police officer.
The patrol policemen showed a body camera video that captured the moment when the "Shahed" hit the rescuers and police officers who were helping the victims of the previous Russian shelling. Video from the scene of the attack was published by the press service of the National Police of Ukraine, reports UNN.
The video shows the moment Shahed hit a few dozen meters away from police, rescuers, and medics who were helping victims of a previous hit by another Shahed on civilian objects and residential buildings.
Details
According to law enforcement, two people were injured in the attack: a police officer and a rescuer.
The agency noted that the enemy is constantly using the tactic of "double strikes".
The enemy constantly uses the tactic of "double strikes" aimed at killing people who arrived at the site of the first explosion to provide assistance. Civilians, rescuers, medics and police officers are the first victims of the second "arrival". This is the most cynical tactic practiced by the enemy in many parts of the world.
