The first book of the coolest series

The joy that reigned in the Ukrainian fan-dom after the announcement of the release of The Celestials is hard to describe. The novel by M. Tonsev “The Blessing of the Celestials” is the first part of the famous series, which is read on all continents. In addition to an interesting plot, the book contains several additional meanings. The author writes about sincerity and hypocrisy, about dreams that you will never give up and people you will never forget. The text is influenced by ancient Chinese literature and Taoism. The author emphasizes the intelligence and charisma of the main characters, their exquisite dialogues.

The main characters of the novel are the pure-hearted crown prince Xie Liang and his mysterious friend, who is not at all who he claims to be. Everything about the novel is perfect: well-developed characters, a unique plot, a three-dimensional structure of locations, etc. The book captivates and does not let go until the last page. The flavor of Eastern mythology and original philosophical thoughts make the work unique. Xie Liang asks the right questions: “There is nothing wrong with saving a person. How can heaven condemn me for doing the right thing?” The language of the work is sprinkled with aphorisms, for example, “A cart will always find a way to overcome the mountain it has rolled up.” The text successfully combines worldly wisdom and an easy style, and there is no excessive didacticism.

The book “Blessings of the Heavenly Governor” is the first Ukrainian licensed edition translated from the original language. Fans are wondering why the title is not “The Blessings of the Deities” but “The Blessings of the Heavenly Government Official”? The original title is translated as “Blessing of the Heavenly Officials,” and it is spelled and sounded the same in the singular as in the plural. For the licensed version, the translator used the word government official (government official) rather than official, which is inherent in the Ukrainian language. BookChef plans to publish translations of all eight books. The first book has a special marking on the cover to prevent readers from buying a counterfeit product.
