Heat up to 38 degrees and thunderstorms: what the weather will be like in Ukraine on August 3

On Monday, August 3, hot weather will persist in Ukraine. No precipitation is forecast in most regions, while in the west and north of the country, short-term rains with thunderstorms are expected in some places during the day. In the southern and southwestern regions, air temperatures will locally reach 38 degrees. This is reported by UNN with reference to the forecast of meteorologists from UkrHydrometeorological Center.

According to the forecast, variable cloudiness is expected throughout the day in Ukraine. No significant precipitation is anticipated over most of the country. At the same time, during the day in most western and northern regions, short-term rains are possible in places, sometimes accompanied by thunderstorms.

In other regions, dry and hot weather will prevail. The highest temperatures are forecast in the southern and southwestern regions, where intense heat is expected locally.

The wind will be variable during the day, with speeds of 3–8 meters per second. Due to the weak wind, the daytime heat, especially in large cities and southern regions, may feel more intense.

At night, air temperatures will be 15–20 degrees Celsius. During the day, in most regions, thermometers will rise to 30–34 degrees.

In most southern and southwestern regions, temperatures of 35–38 degrees Celsius are forecast locally, corresponding to the level of intense heat.

Under such temperatures, meteorologists advise avoiding prolonged exposure to direct sunlight during the daytime, drinking enough water, and monitoring your well-being more carefully. Elderly people, children, and citizens with cardiovascular diseases should be especially cautious.
