As a result of the trial, the self-proclaimed head of the Dymer United Territorial Community in Kyiv region was sentenced to 9 years in prison for collaborating with the occupiers.

The decision was made as a result of a public prosecution by prosecutors of the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, who proved the man's guilt in collaboration and illegal dissemination of information about the Armed Forces of Ukraine during martial law, in accordance with Articles 111-1 and 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

According to prosecutors, the convict actively cooperated with the occupiers after the capture of the town of Dymer in the Vyshgorod district of Kyiv region. He voluntarily accepted the offer of cooperation from the russian military and provided them with information for orientation on the ground.

In March 2022, the occupiers gathered the local population, and during a meeting with citizens, the convict announced his new appointment as the head of the Dymer ATC. He also gave an interview to russian media in which he expressed his loyalty to the occupiers and called for cooperation with them.

During the time he held the position of the head of the ATC, the convict actively promoted the ideas of the occupiers, distributing newspapers with propaganda of the armed aggression of the russian federation against Ukraine. In addition, he used his powers to involve the local population in illegal cooperation with the occupiers and provided them with information about ATO participants, territorial defense and local deputies.

Thus, the court sentenced him to 9 years in prison with confiscation of property. In addition, the convict was banned from holding any positions in state and local government bodies, as well as in organizations providing public services, for the next 15 years after his release.
