General Staff on the situation at the front: the enemy is increasing the pace of offensive actions in the Liman and Pokrovsk sectors

The number of combat engagements along the entire front line has increased to 84, with the occupiers increasing the pace of offensive operations in the Pokrovske sector, while Ukrainian defenders are confidently holding back the onslaught and inflicting significant losses on the enemy.
The number of combat clashes along the entire front line has increased to 84, the occupiers are increasing the pace of offensive operations on the Liman and Pokrovsk directions. This is stated in the report of the General Staff as of 16:00, UNN reports.
"Since the beginning of the day, the enemy continues to increase the pace of offensive actions in the Liman and Pokrovsk sectors. The number of combat engagements along the entire frontline increased to 84. Ukrainian defenders are confidently holding back the onslaught of the Russian occupation forces and inflicting significant losses on the enemy," the report says.
The General Staff added that Kharkiv region is also under constant bombardment by enemy aircraft. Today, from the Russian cities of Belgorod and Shebekino, terrorists conducted a total of five air strikes, dropping nine UAVs. They targeted the areas of Ukrainian settlements Vovchansk, Hlyboke and Ruska Lozova.
At the same time, two enemy attacks were repelled near Hlyboke in the Kharkiv sector. No positions were lost. Two more clashes continue there.
In the Kupyansk sector, the enemy stormed our positions near Sinkivka twice without success. Occupants' aviation fired twice with unguided aerial missiles near Stepova Novoselivka - a total of two dozen NARs were launched. In addition, two guided aerial bombs exploded near Kurylivka.
In the Liman sector, the invading army carried out 17 attacks on Ukrainian positions near Nevske, Makiivka, Hrekivka, Terny and in the Serebryansky forest. 11 clashes ended without success for the enemy, six more are ongoing. The occupants are most active in the area of Terny, accounting for more than a third of all combat engagements.
The enemy continues to try to find weaknesses in our defense in the Seversky sector. Near Spirne, Bilohorivka and Vyymka, Ukrainian defenders repelled six enemy attacks. A battle is currently underway near Spirne. The situation is under control.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the occupants made three unsuccessful assaults on the positions of our troops near Kalynivka, Klishchiyivka and Ivanivske. They shelled Chasovyi Yar twice from army aircraft.
In the Toretsk sector, the number of enemy attacks increased to nine. The enemy, with the support of aviation, tried to advance towards New York and Toretsk twice each. The aggressor made four more attacks near Pivnichne. Fighting is still ongoing in three locations. In total, the invaders carried out five air strikes in the area.
In the Pokrovsk sector, the largest number of combat engagements took place. Since the beginning of the day, the occupants have made 29 attempts to force our defenders from their positions in the areas of Kalynove, Novooleksandrivka, Yevhenivka, Novoselivka Persha, Yasnobrodivka and Netaylove. The enemy conducted almost half of the attacks near Novooleksandrivka and Novoselivka Persha. The occupants supported their actions with three air strikes.
The defense forces are holding back the onslaught and repelled 17 enemy attacks, 12 battles are still ongoing.
Fighting continues in the Kurakhove sector. So far, Ukrainian defenders have repelled six attacks by the occupation army. The enemy is concentrating its efforts towards Krasnohorivka. The occupants bombed the areas of Maksymilianivka and Kostyantynivka with UAVs.
In the Vremivsk sector, three enemy attacks towards Kostyantynivka and two near Vodiane were repelled. The enemy dropped a couple of bombs near Yelizavetivka.
In the Orikhivsk sector, the occupants received a fierce rebuff near Mala Tokmachka. In addition, they launched 32 unguided aerial missiles in the area of Luhove.
"Our troop grouping has defined and completed tasks to strengthen the stability of the defense. Ukrainian defenders continue to restrain the enemy and inflict maximum losses on him," the General Staff added.
