General Staff: 141 battles took place in the frontline. Defense forces neutralize Su-25 aircraft and hit two enemy stations

There were 141 combat engagements in the frontline over the last day. Most hostile attacks, 52 in total, were repelled in the Pokrovsk sector. The defense forces neutralized one Russian Su-25 aircraft and destroyed, among other things, one enemy control center, an air defense system, one communication station and one radar station. This is stated in the report of the General Staff as of 8:00 a.m. on July 8, UNN reports .

According to the updated information of the General Staff, over the past day, the enemy launched two missile attacks on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas using three missiles, 80 air strikes, involving 111 aircraft. In addition, it carried out more than 4,000 attacks, including 110 using multiple launch rocket systems.

Over the past day, the aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces conducted 11 air strikes on enemy forces, destroyed one control center, one air defense facility, three areas of concentration of occupants' personnel and weapons, one R-441 Livn communication station and one Protyvnyk-GE radar station.

In total, the Russian invaders suffered 1200 casualties over the last day . Also, our soldiers neutralized 16 tanks, 40 armored combat vehicles, 29 artillery systems, one air defense system, one Su-25 aircraft, one cruise missile, 31 operational and tactical UAVs, 47 vehicles and eight pieces of special equipment.

According to the General Staff, 141 combat engagements were registered over the past day. As of 8:00 a.m., the situation in the sectors is as follows: 

In the Kharkiv sector, the enemy continued offensive actions. Five combat engagements took place in the vicinity of Liptsy, Staritsa, Hlyboke and Vovchansk.

In the Kupyansk sector, the number of attacks amounted to 13 over the last day. Defense forces repelled all enemy assaults near Sinkivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Pishchane and Stelmakhivka.

In the Liman sector, our troops repelled 16 occupants' attacks in the areas of Nevske, Hrekivka, Makiivka, Terny, and Serebryany forestry.

In the Northern sector , Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled three assault attacks near Verkhnekamianske.

In the Kramatorsk sector , our troops stopped five enemy attempts to break through the defense in the areas of Kalynivka, Hryhorivka and Chasovyi Yar.

In the Toretsk sector, the enemy carried out nine unsuccessful attacks near the towns of Pivnichne and Toretsk.

In the Pokrovsky sector, our defenders repelled 52 assault attacks in the areas of the settlements of New York, Progress, Vozdvyzhenka, Novooleksandrivka, Kalynove, Lozuvatske, Novoselivka Persha and Yasnobrodivka, where the invaders, supported by aviation, tried to force our units out of their positions.

In the Kurakhove sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled enemy attacks near Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Paraskoviivka and Kostiantynivka, where the enemy tried to break through the defense of our troops 19 times.

In the Vremivsk sector , the enemy made 10 attacks on our positions near Vodiane, Kostiantynivka and Makarivka.

In the Orikhivsk sector, five combat engagements took place in the areas of Mala Tokmachka and Robotyne.

In the Prydniprovskyi sector, the occupants continue to try to drive the Defense Forces units from their positions on the bridgeheads. Four Russian attacks were unsuccessful.

In the Volyn and Polissya sectors , the operational situation remained unchanged. No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected.

According to the General Staff, the enemy maintains a military presence on the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, shelling settlements from the territory of the Russian Federation, and increasing the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine.

At the same time, our soldiers continue to actively inflict losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, depleting the enemy along the entire combat line
