Former member of the group Modern Talking has made a new scandalous statement regarding Russia's war against Ukraine. Dieter Bohlen believes that the worst possible outcome would be Ukraine's victory. This is reported by Berliner Zeitung, writes UNN.

The former member of the duo Modern Talking sharply criticized German Chancellor Friedrich Merz. He complained that he is troubled by Merz's current activities.

"Why do we need to build bunkers now? What are they planning there? It scares me. I don't build bunkers just for fun. I build bunkers when I foresee that they want war," said Dieter Bohlen.

The musician added that he had spoken with Merz several times before. The Chancellor believes in Ukraine's victory, but Bohlen himself finds this alarming.

He calls this "the worst scenario," as he believes that Russia's defeat could lead to a world war.

Separately, the musician criticized German media, claiming a supposedly one-sided coverage of the war, and also spoke out against Western sanctions and the cultural boycott of Russia.

"If a drone flies from Ukraine to Moscow, that's normal — but in the opposite direction, it's not at all," he quipped.
