Five civilians were injured as a result of artillery shelling in Donetsk region, residential buildings were damaged; war crimes are being investigated.
As a result of enemy artillery shelling on Friday of Krasnohorivka, Avdiivka and Toretsk in Donetsk region on Friday, five civilians were injured, and residential buildings were damaged. This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General, UNN reports.
On December 29, 2023, the occupiers shelled Krasnohorivka with artillery. Enemy shells hit the private sector, where a 41-year-old man and a woman of 83 years old were injured. Another victim of 79 years old was injured in his own house
The report also says that in Avdiivka "a 50-year-old resident of Avdiivka sustained bodily injuries as a result of a hit from a munition A 50-year-old resident of the town. He was taken to the hospital in a very serious condition for hospital for medical care".
The prosecutor's office informs about a strike in Toretsk, in which as a result of which "a 60-year-old woman received shrapnel wounds and a broken a 60-year-old woman in her own yard, she was hospitalized".
According to preliminary data, the enemy fired at settlements with Grad multiple rocket launchers and artillery.
Under the procedural supervision of the Donetsk regional prosecutor's office, a pre-trial investigation was initiated in criminal proceedings on the facts of violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Emergency services are working at the scene, prosecutors and investigative teams.
