First round of negotiations: what the US and Iran agreed on in Switzerland

The parties agreed to establish a High-Level Committee and agreed on a 60-day roadmap. Sanctions on Iranian oil have been lifted and part of the assets have been unfrozen.
The first round of negotiations between the United States and Iran on a final peace agreement took place in a "positive and constructive atmosphere," progress was made, and the parties reached a number of agreements. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, informs UNN.

It is noted that Washington and Tehran agreed to establish a High-Level Committee to ensure "political oversight of mediation." Thus, the chief negotiators will regularly report to the committee and will also lead working groups that will deal with nuclear issues, sanctions, a monitoring group, and dispute resolution to ensure effective implementation of the framework agreement.
In addition:
- a roadmap has been agreed upon to finalize the final agreement between the United States and Iran within 60 days;
- technical negotiations on all issues will continue until the end of this week in Switzerland;
- A coordination center for conflict resolution will be established, including for a ceasefire in Lebanon.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has already stated that as a result of the negotiations, sanctions against Iranian oil were lifted, and part of Iran's frozen assets abroad were unfrozen.
The efforts of Pakistan and Qatar have led to significant progress in ending the war in Lebanon. Restrictions on the export of oil and petrochemical products have been lifted, the blockade has been canceled, part of the frozen assets have been unfrozen, and a large-scale plan for the reconstruction and development of Iran has been launched
At the same time, according to Iranian media, Iran initially refused to continue the negotiations that began on Sunday due to threats from US President Donald Trump, who stated that the US could "seize" the Strait of Hormuz and threatened the Iranian delegation.
