Fintech ecosystem W Group announced the creation of its own esports team WhiteBIT Team. The first roster was formed from Ukrainian players, with Mykhailo Blahin becoming the coach.
The fintech ecosystem W Group, which includes WhiteBIT and white.market, has announced the launch of its own esports team — WhiteBIT Team (WBT).
The first roster of the team is formed from Ukrainian players, and the coaching staff is headed by Ukrainian Mykhailo "kane" Blagin — one of the most authoritative Counter-Strike coaches, who worked with Gambit Esports and NAVI and won at PGL Major Kraków 2017.
Even before the official launch, the team managed to make a name for itself:
• won the second stage of the UESF 2026 Championship of Ukraine
• took 3rd–4th place at ESEA League Season 57 Europe Finals
• qualified for European Pro League Series 8.
The long-term goal of the team is to qualify for the Counter-Strike Major and establish itself among competitive world-class teams. The foundation for this will be the many years of experience of the W Group ecosystem in sports and esports: WhiteBIT develops partnerships with FC Barcelona and Juventus, and white.market has been cooperating with FACEIT, NAVI and Maincast for many years.
