Ukrainian defender receives modern bionic prosthesis
Ukrainian soldier Viacheslav Smyslov received a high-tech prosthetic arm with the support of the Cyberpunk 2023 campaign by FAVBET. Manufactured by German specialists at the Unbroken Center, the prosthesis is controlled by electronic sensors and reproduces the functions of the lost limb as closely as possible.

Vyacheslav Smyslov is a 31-year-old soldier from Mariupol who has been defending Ukraine in the Armed Forces for five years. From the first days of the full-scale invasion, he took part in the defense of Mariupol, and later held back the enemy offensive in the Bakhmut area. There, he received multiple injuries as a result of a Russian drone attack and lost his left arm below the elbow.
The prosthetics were performed in Lviv with the participation of leading Ukrainian and German specialists. Vyacheslav received one of the most advanced modifications of the bionic prosthesis, which allows him not only to pick up objects but also to perform movements requiring fine motor skills, such as holding a pen, cutlery, and buttoning buttons.
This is exactly the prosthesis Viacheslav dreamed of and promised to show to his kids, as in addition to his wife, the soldier has three children waiting for him at home. "I was very afraid of the children's reaction, so I said: 'Don't worry, dad will come with an iron hand, he'll be like a transformer. My son has already told everyone in the kindergarten that his father is a transformer, so everyone is looking forward to it. I am grateful to FAVBET for this opportunity," the defender says.
Viacheslav's bionic prosthesis was manufactured with the charitable financial support of FAVBET as part of the final stage of the Cyberpunk 2023 campaign called People of the Future. In addition, during the campaign, the company implemented three other mission projects to support Ukrainian soldiers, including the purchase of reconnaissance drones, thermal imagers, and anti-drone rifles.
