Fake website invites French to "join Ukraine": French Ministry of Defense warns

French special services have discovered a fake website "Join Ukraine" aimed at conducting a disinformation campaign.  This was reported by the French Ministry of the Armed Forces in the social network X, UNN reports. 

Disinformation. A link to the "Join Ukraine" website, which uses the same graphics as the government websites, is currently being shared on the X network. This site is a fake government site

According to the French agency, the site was retransmitted on social media by malicious accounts to conduct a disinformation campaign.

Lawmakers in the French National Assembly on Wednesday backed a bill proposed by President Emmanuel Macron's party, the National Revival, to combat foreign interference.
