Classes in schools, technical schools and private colleges in Beirut have been canceled until the end of December due to the security situation. This was reported by the Ministry of Education of Lebanon, UNN reports.

The decision was made due to security concerns over the ongoing Israeli air strikes that have been going on for several months.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health has stated that since October last year, more than 3,700 people have been killed and more than 15,600 injured in Israeli attacks on Lebanese territory. Over the past day, the number of victims has increased again, with more than 80 people killed.
Due to the escalation of the conflict, the Lebanese government has decided to suspend the educational process in schools and educational institutions until the end of the year to protect students from possible threats.
