Exchange rate on June 23: dollar freezes, euro falls

The NBU set the official dollar exchange rate at UAH 44.9093/USD, and the euro at UAH 51.4144/EUR. In banks and exchange offices, the dollar exchange rate fluctuates around UAH 44.67-45.15.
The National Bank of Ukraine has set the official hryvnia exchange rate at UAH 44.9093 per dollar today, virtually unchanged from the previous day, reports UNN citing NBU data.
The NBU also set the official euro to hryvnia exchange rate for June 23 at UAH 51.4144 per euro, strengthening the hryvnia by 5 kopecks over the day.
According to data on specialized websites as of Tuesday morning:
- in banks, the dollar is traded at an average rate of UAH 44.67 for buying and UAH 45.15 for selling, the euro at UAH 51.22 and UAH 51.87 respectively;
- in exchange offices, the dollar is traded at an average rate of UAH 44.90 for buying and UAH 45.00 for selling, the euro at UAH 51.70 and UAH 51.90 respectively.
