The Dutch national team got off to a good start when Javi Simons opened the scoring in the 7th minute with an impressive shot. However, the Three Lions (England) responded quickly: in the 18th minute, Harry Kane earned a penalty kick and converted it.

The Netherlands found themselves in an awkward situation in the middle of the first half when their main forward Depay was injured. After the break, both teams played well, but the advantage belonged to the English. Although Sack's goal was canceled due to offside, the Three Lions still managed to score the winning goal in regulation time.

The substitutions  made during the game for England were perfect: Palmer gave an assist to Watkins, and the latter brought his team to the final with a precise shot with a score of 2-1.
