Due to increased consumption due to the cold snap and technical problems at power plants, Ukraine may face an electricity shortage, although no blackouts are planned.

The situation in the power system is complicated. The increase in consumption due to the cold snap may cause a shortage in the power system.  There are no electricity exports today, and the volume of imports are small. This was reported by Ukrenergo, according to UNN.

According to Ukrenergo, the situation in the power system remains difficult.
