Kyiv • UNN
Due to the thick fog, the occupants shelled Zaporizhzhia region less than the previous night. Overnight, 9 civilian buildings in 13 settlements were damaged.
As of the morning, Russian troops fired 200 times at Zaporizhzhia region, which is significantly less than the previous night. This is due to the weather conditions: due to the thick fog, it was difficult for the enemy to use their drones for attacks. This was stated by the head of the Zaporizhzhya RMA Ivan Fedorov during a telethon on Tuesday, UNN reports.

"Unfortunately, the night passed with air raids. Our residents woke up to the fact that the enemy threatened to attack both Zaporizhzhia region and the regional center. Although, according to the statistics recorded in the morning, the enemy shelled the region 200 times, this is much less than the previous night, and this is due to the fact that there was a thick fog, and it was difficult for the enemy to use and deploy their drones to attack the territory of Zaporizhzhia region," said Fedorov.
On his Telegram channel, Fedorov reported that the enemy had struck 13 settlements over the course of the day.
At the same time, he noted that 9 civilian buildings were destroyed in the region over the past day.
According to him, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, more than 13,000 residential buildings have been destroyed in the region, and more than 16,000 buildings in total - commercial, private enterprises and industries.
"If we start with the 20th of September, when the enemy started shelling the regional center with KABs, more than 1,600 buildings and structures were damaged or destroyed," added Fedorov.
