Due to the recent storm and poor emergency response by the occupation forces, some animals died in the flooded zoo on Arabat Spit in Kherson region.
The occupiers are unable to ensure the vital activity of the occupied regions. Thus, due to the shortage of rescuers in the temporarily occupied Kherson region, some animals died during the flooding of the zoo as a result of the storm. This was reported by the Center of National Resistance, according to UNN.
Details
During the recent storm, in the TOT of Kherson region, namely on the Arabat Spit, the Syvash Bay overflowed its banks and flooded the Safari Park. As a result, some of the animals in the zoo, which was seized by the Russians, died because the local Ministry of Emergency Situations was unable to provide assistance in time.
In addition, due to bad weather, a number of settlements in the TOT of Zaporizhzhia still do not have electricity, as there are not enough power engineers in the region. Most of the specialists left their homes after the Russians seized part of the land.
