“Dobropavlyvo” at WOG - fuel for volunteers that doubles when paid with a Visa card

For the third year in a row, the WOG filling station network together with Visa have initiated the Dobropavlyvo project. Its goal is to provide high-quality fuel to volunteers who deliver essential goods to the de-occupied and frontline areas, as well as provide medical assistance and evacuate the wounded. 

Anyone who cares can join the initiative. To do this, you need to:

-         buy any number of liters of Dobropaliv at a WOG filling station and inform the operator at the checkout about the desire to “hang” them for volunteers;

OR

-         select the “Charity” section at the WOG PAY BOX self-service terminal and purchase any number of liters of Dobropaliv;

-         all charitable liters paid for with Visa cards are automatically doubled. 

The initiative will run from November 1 to December 15. The organizers will send all the “goodwill”  to the Zhyttelyub Foundation, the Birds project of the Vidchuy Charitable Foundation, whose teams deliver food, water, medicine and other essential goods to the frontline and de-occupied territories, the Humanitarian Department of the Serhiy Prytula Foundation, whose team provides medical services and supplies hospitals with necessary equipment and medicines in the frontline and de-occupied territories, and the Pirogov First Volunteer Mobile Hospital. Pirogov First Volunteer Mobile Hospital, whose volunteer medics rescue and evacuate the wounded.

Gennadiy Karlinsky, Marketing Director of WOG filling stations: “For the third time, Dobropalyvo brings together big business, the international payment system Visa, and the community of socially responsible car owners to help fuel foundations whose volunteers and medics cover thousands of kilometers every month on humanitarian and rescue missions. For them, every liter of fuel means lives saved. In 2022, we involved the Zhyttieliub Foundation in the project, in 2023 there were already three such foundations, and this year four foundations will receive fuel assistance. We are pleased that the number of Dobropalyv funds is also growing every year. Thus, in 2023, together with the car community, we accumulated fuel worth UAH 14.1 million, which is almost three times more than in 2022.” 

The Dobropalyv organizers believe that this year's support for the project will be even greater, which will make it possible to provide volunteers with enough fuel to help as many people as possible.
