“Do not be afraid of sounds": Kyiv residents warned of thunderstorm in the coming hours

The KCSA has reported a deterioration in the weather in the capital. Thunderstorms and squally winds of up to 15-20 m/s are expected, and the first level of danger has been introduced. Kyiv residents were urged to follow safety rules.
In the capital, thunderstorms and winds are expected in the next two hours, with winds up to 15-20 m/s in some places, KCSA reported on Thursday, UNN reports.

Weather conditions are reportedly expected to deteriorate in Kyiv. The first level of danger has been introduced.
"Do not be alarmed by the sound of thunder," KCSA said in a Telegram message.
Due to the strong winds, Kyiv residents were urged to follow the following safety rules:
- do not park vehicles under trees, billboards, or power poles;
- Close windows, doors, and attics tightly in buildings;
- remove objects from balconies and loggias that are not secured and can fall to the street.
If an air raid is announced, immediately go to the shelter, the KCSA added.
