The winner of the "Do Your Business" contest opened a coffee shop

Tetiana Mishchenko, winner of the "Do Your Business" business idea competition, has realized her dream of owning her own business - she has opened a coffee shop called "Vigorous Barista". This was reported by MHP-Urozhayna Kraina, according to UNN.

Details

The coffee shop is located in the village of Nyzy, Sumy region. With a grant from the Foundation in the amount of UAH 100 thousand, the entrepreneur purchased the necessary equipment and high-quality ingredients for the preparation of products. The coffee shop has already become a favorite place for community residents, where they enjoy the atmosphere, aromatic coffee and goodies from the "Vigorous Barista".Interestingly, Tetiana has won the "Do Your Business" contest for the second year in a row."The winners of the 'Do Your Own' contest once again show that even in a difficult period for the country, you can work, develop and make your dreams come true. Instead of giving up, they choose the path of opening new businesses, creating jobs and successfully overcoming the consequences of the war," MHP-Urozhayna Kraina believes.

At the end of May, the organizers of the "Do Your Business" business idea competition for entrepreneurs in small towns and villages announced the winners of the 2023 edition. This year, the MHP-Hromada Charitable Foundation, which organized the competition, supported 80 business projects totaling more than UAH 7.4 million. A total of 615 applications were received from small entrepreneurs across the country. In particular, most business ideas were submitted in Kyiv (22%), Cherkasy (12%), Dnipro (11%), Vinnytsia (9%), and Lviv (9%) regions.The main criteria for selecting the winners were project innovation, economic component, creation of new jobs, social significance, and involvement of IDPs in business or work. Both existing businesses that are expanding or relocating and entrepreneurs who have a business idea and are just looking for funding to implement it received grant support.
