Denmark and Sweden to jointly finance CV90 infantry fighting vehicles for Ukraine
Denmark has allocated 1.8 billion Danish kroner (about 264 million dollars) to help finance the Swedish initiative to provide Ukraine with CV90 infantry fighting vehicles. UNN reports this with reference to a statement from the Danish Ministry of Defense.

Along with the Swedish government, the Danish government has reportedly decided to co-finance the assistance already started, as well as to start production of additional CV90 infantry fighting vehicles. In addition to the CV90 infantry fighting vehicles, the assistance also includes spare parts, ammunition and a multi-year maintenance agreement to ensure that the vehicles can be logistically supported after delivery.
"CV90 infantry fighting vehicles are in great demand in Ukraine, so the government has allocated 1.8 billion Danish kroner (about $263.6 million - ed.) in 2023..." - the statement reads.

"Denmark and Sweden have exemplary defense cooperation, both bilaterally and under the auspices of NATO, NORDEFCO and the EU, which is of great importance for the security of both nations. The current bilateral agreement is an important contribution to our shared ambition to continue to support Ukraine's fight for freedom. That is why we are joining forces to deliver the Swedish-made infantry fighting vehicles that Ukraine has requested to use in its defense against Russia," said Danish Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen.
It is also reported that Sweden has already handed over 50 CV90 units to Ukraine.
