Drones attacked railroad infrastructure in Voronezh region, causing train delays. In Belgorod region, a power line was damaged and two people were injured in the village of Palatovo.
On the night of December 28, air strikes involving drones took place in Voronezh and Belgorod regions (Russia). As a result of the drone attack in the first region, the railroad infrastructure was damaged, and in the second, a settlement was de-energized. According to a representative of local authorities in Voronezh region, in one of the districts “the wreckage of a drone fell down” and the railway contact network was cut, which delayed trains.
One train has been delayed until the consequences are resolved, and a number of others are expected to be delayed as well
A Russian official claims that more than 10 drones were allegedly destroyed in the suburbs of Voronezh and in several districts of the region.

He added that the risk of a UAV attack in Voronezh region remains.
Meanwhile, the governor of the Belgorod region said on his Telegram channel that the Chervonogvardeisky district came under attack by a UAV. The official blames Ukraine for the air strike.
According to him, one of the drones hit the village of Verkhososna, and as a result of the attack, “a power line was damaged, and the village is temporarily without electricity.” The governor added that emergency crews are working to restore electricity.
In addition, the Russian official said, in the village of Palatove, “as a result of a drone detonation, two people were injured and hospitalized.
“In the village, windows in three residential buildings were smashed and facades were cut,” Gladkov added.
