Declaration of the Mayor of Dnipro: UAH 50 million for art and a collection of cars and motorcycles

Borys Filatov declared a collection of Japanese art worth over UAH 50 million, cars, and motorcycles. He also owns real estate, cash in dollars and hryvnias, and rental income.
Dnipro Mayor Borys Filatov has published his e-declaration for 2024, which lists a significant number of valuable assets and incomes. Among them are real estate, cars, motorcycles, as well as a collection of Japanese art, valued at over 50 million hryvnias. The relevant data are posted in the official's e-declaration, UNN reports.
Details
Among Filatov's main assets is an apartment in Dnipro with an area of 279.6 sq.m, which he purchased in 2004 for UAH 653,412. The declaration also lists a residential building with outbuildings and structures in the city of Pidhorodne (Dnipropetrovsk region) with an area of 1395.1 sq.m.
In addition, Filatov owns several parking spaces and parking lots in the city of Dnipro, which are in his joint partial ownership (33.33%).
In total, this is:
- a parking space in an underground parking lot with an area of 21.50 sq.m and another one with an area of 30.50 sq.m;
- two parking spaces with an area of 20.50 sq.m (2 units);
- two parking spaces with an area of 15.20 sq.m (2 units);
- two parking spaces with an area of 23.20 sq.m (2 units);
- a parking space with an area of 22.20 sq.m;
- a parking space with an area of 23.00 sq.m.
The Mayor of Dnipro also has joint ownership (33.33%) of a non-residential premises in Dnipro with an area of 1838.7 sq.m. In addition, he rents a non-residential building in the urban-type settlement of Simeiz (ARC) with an area of 426.3 sq.m.
Filatov owns luxurious watches from brands such as Breguet Marine Royale, Cartier Santos 100, Officine Panerai Radiomir, Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, and Atmos Jaeger Lecoultre. In addition, he has a collection of Japanese art, which includes 191 items (netsuke, okimono, inro, ukiyo-e, kagamibuta, aikutchi, tanto, tsuba, urushi, and Japanese laminar armor) with a total estimated value of UAH 50,800,000.
The Mayor of Dnipro also listed several other valuable items in his e-declaration. Among them are a Toyota Land Cruiser FJ140 car from 1963, as well as a DeLorean DMC-12, manufactured in 1981. In addition, he owns a BMW R27 motorcycle with a sidecar, from 1961. Furthermore, he owns a Billionaire men's jacket, worth UAH 120,000, and a women's fur coat, estimated at UAH 103,000. In particular, it is also stated that Filatov purchased a ticket for a Virgin suborbital flight, worth UAH 1,400,000.
In addition, he owns a Mercedes S600L car from 2012, worth UAH 5,524,000, as well as a Jaguar XJS Convert from 1989, valued at UAH 74,500. He also owns a Mercedes-Benz 200 from 1969, worth UAH 15,000, and a Dodge RAM from 2008, worth UAH 322,400. His collection also includes motorcycles: a Triumph Scrambler from 2006 (UAH 49,158), a Honda XR250 from 1999 (UAH 16,250), and a Harley-Davidson CVOSE Street Glide from 2010 (UAH 450,000). In addition, Filatov owns a BRP RXP X RS watercraft from 2008, worth UAH 80,000, and a sailing and motor vessel "Rusych" from 2006, which is estimated at UAH 124,771. It is also stated that he owns a RAF 22031 car from 1998, worth UAH 43,000, which was purchased in 2022.
Filatov indicated significant incomes, among which the main salary amounted to UAH 329,511, and additional income from property rental — UAH 540,000. Concurrently, he received a salary at the University of Customs Affairs and Finance in the amount of UAH 61,438. Another income from property rental amounted to UAH 907,846. A significant income was also the sale of an aircraft, which brought the mayor UAH 35,017,110. In addition, he received interest in the amount of UAH 71,769 and another UAH 714.
Filatov also indicated cash in the amount of 469,000 US dollars and 180,000 UAH. There are 360,836 UAH and 847,815 US dollars in bank accounts.
