Czech Republic extends temporary protection for refugees from Ukraine until 2025

On December 1, the Czech parliament decided to extend temporary protection for Ukrainians. According to the new provisions, Ukrainians will retain the right to access public health insurance, education and the labor market.
Ukrainians who were forced to leave their homes and moved to the Czech Republic will be able to extend temporary protection until the end of March 2025. This was reported by the Ministry of Reintegration with reference to the Czech information portal FRS, UNN reports.
If you have temporary protection valid until 31.03.2024, you will have the opportunity to extend your temporary protection until 31.03.2025

On December 1, the Czech parliament decided to extend temporary protection for Ukrainians. According to the new provisions, Ukrainians will retain the right to access public health insurance, education and the labor market.
The extension process will take place in two stages. The first step will be an online registration with an appointment for a personal visit to the Czech office of the Ministry of the Interior to mark a new visa sticker. The second step will be a personal visit to the workplace of an employee of the Ministry of the Interior.
