Authorities are considering a psychiatric examination for MP Serhiy Batryn after he detonated a grenade during a session meeting, injuring 26 people
The issue of submitting a petition for a forensic psychiatric examination of the suspect in the grenade attack during the session, MP Serhiy Batryn, is being decided. This was reported to UNN by the press service of the Transcarpathian Regional Prosecutor's Office.
I think that we will appoint (a forensic psychiatric examination - ed.), but this will be possible only when his health condition allows it. The issue of its appointment is currently being decided

In Zakarpattia, on December 15, MP Serhiy Batryn of the Servant of the People party detonated grenades during a session of the village council, injuring 26 people. One of the victims later died in hospital from his injuries.
The SBU launched an investigation into the detonation of combat grenades by a deputy in the village council building.
The National Police is additionally investigating incident under Art. 263 (illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives) of the Criminal Code.
The SBU served suspicion notice of committing a terrorist act to Batryn, a deputy of the Keretsky village council in Zakarpattia region.
A court in the Transcarpathian region has imposed a preventive measure in the form of detention on Serhiy Batryn.
