Due to a large-scale hacker attack on  Kyivstar mobile operator, Dnipro may face problems with street lighting today. This is reported by the Dnipro City Council, UNN reports.

Due to a hacker attack on Kyivstar in Dnipro, street lighting will not be available everywhere. The fact is that 80% of the city's lighting is switched on through the GSM channel of Kyivstar mobile operator

The city council noted that first, they will manually turn on the lights on bridges, central streets and highways. In case of restoration of communication, outdoor lighting will work in full.
