Chesnokov discusses support for Ukrainian youth with the head of the European Youth Foundation

Andriy Chesnokov, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, discussed with Gordana Berian, President of the European Youth Foundation, the continuation of support for Ukrainian youth by funding projects aimed at assisting them during the russian war against Ukraine and encouraging their return to rebuild the country.

Andriy Chesnokov, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, met with Gordana Berian, President of the European Youth Foundation.
During this meeting, the issue of continuing to fund the ongoing competition from the European Youth Foundation for pilot projects aimed at supporting Ukrainian youth in the context of the russian war against Ukraine in all Council of Europe member states was raised.
Chesnokov also suggested that the projects should include incentives for young people to return to Ukraine to participate in the country's recovery and reconstruction. Gordana Berian confirmed that the call for projects to support Ukrainian youth will continue. In addition, the European Youth Foundation plans to hold a series of events for applicants who did not receive financial support to strengthen their project capacity and support their successful participation in the next stages of the competition.

During the meeting, it was agreed to hold a seminar of the European Youth Foundation in Lviv from September 2 to 6, 2024, aimed at increasing the capacity of Ukrainian NGOs to submit grant applications to the Foundation.
