Law enforcement officers have seized physical evidence and video footage from cameras in the case of the death of a young man after he fell from an amusement park in Kyiv. The body of a 20-year-old man who fell into the Dnipro River after a cable broke will be sent for examination.

An investigation is reportedly underway into the cause of the cable breakage at the Dnipro River Ropeway from the Arch of Friendship of Peoples to Trukhaniv Island, which resulted in a person's death.
On the second day of the search, rescuers found the body of a 20-year-old man who was on the ride when the cable broke. "His body will be sent for examination," the prosecutor's office said on social media.
"At this point, law enforcement officers have already seized some of the video footage from the cameras installed on the ride, as well as material evidence," the statement said.
The prosecutor's office also appealed to witnesses to the incident and to citizens who have important information for the investigation to provide relevant testimony, as well as available photos and videos to the pre-trial investigation body and the prosecutor's office.
