The Head of State thanked him for his first visit to our country at such a difficult time, which is an important signal of support for Ukrainians.

"I am glad to meet you, and thank you very much. I thank your Prime Minister and the people of the United Kingdom for their great support. We are very proud that we truly have strong relations, and we respect each other," the Head of State said.

Wes Streeting noted that it was an honor for him to be in Ukraine, convey a signal of his country's unwavering, united support, and meet with Ukrainian rescuers, military personnel, and civilians.

"I am very pleased that you were the first guest of our Prime Minister. I think this sentiment is felt not only within the British government but, as you know, among all parties in the House of Representatives of our parliament, as well as throughout the country. I know that you felt this during many of your visits to Britain—how deep the support is personally for your leadership and your people," he said.

The President briefed Wes Streeting on the consequences of Russia's massive attacks, including the attack this night.

"This night is once again a signal that, before winter, we need unity and strong support from your country and from our other European friends. It is also a signal that Russia is sending to us and to the world: they do not want to stop. And I think they want to continue and intensify the escalation, using ballistic missiles," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

In addition

The Head of State emphasized that the main priority today is anti-ballistic defense and finding ways to ensure it. After all, the aggressor plans to significantly increase ballistic missile production before winter. Ukraine is counting both on its partners and, at the same time, on developing its own capabilities to protect lives. This primarily concerns the creation of an anti-ballistic system, but this requires time.

During the meeting, opportunities for the joint production of certain types of weapons were discussed.

Special attention was paid to sanctions against Russian enterprises engaged in the production of ballistic missiles. The President emphasized that all efforts aimed at weakening Russia's military machine and its reliance on ballistic terror matter, the Office of the President summarized.
