The Ukrainian military agrees to 36 months of service for demobilization if there is no escalation at the front and no replacement.
The 36-month service limit is a compromise with the government, provided there are no escalations at the front and that there are people to replace people on the front line, said General Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, during a briefing, UNN reports.

He added that the Armed Forces and the Ministry of Defense agreed to demobilize the military after 36 months of service under two conditions: if there is no escalation at the front and if there is someone to replace them.
"And now the government, which has begun to implement the law, clearly understands the capabilities of our country. And I hope we will cope with this task," Zaluzhny said.

The Cabinet of Ministers has submitted to the Rada a draft law on improving certain issues of mobilization, military registration and military service, which, among other things, provides for the demobilization of servicemen after 36 months of service. The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has found a solution that will allow servicemen to partially discharge.
