Over 2,300 candidates have joined the program for people aged 50+. 841 individuals are already working, another 713 are undergoing internships.

The program for returning people aged 50+ to the labor market has already attracted over 2,000 people, more than 710 are undergoing internships, and 841 have found jobs, or more than a third of all candidates, the Ministry of Economy reported after the announcement of the initiative's launch in May, writes UNN.

Details

The first results of the "Experience Matters" program for people aged 50+ as of June 22, according to the Ministry of Economy, are as follows: 1,554 Ukrainians have already found employment or started internships:

  • 841 – are working;
    • another 713 are undergoing internships.

      In total, 2,312 candidates have joined the program, and employers have posted 2,657 vacancies.

      The most active participation in the program, as reported, comes from candidates and employers from Kyiv, Lviv, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Rivne regions.

      The highest demand currently is for the following specialists: salespeople, accountants, drivers, laborers, cooks, cleaners, security guards, seamstresses, janitors, and administrators.

      A separate direction of the program is training. The greatest interest is in courses on intergenerational interaction – 1,349 applications, digital tools and AI – 1,125, and career strategy – 883.

      Reminder

      The launch of an internship program for people aged 50+ called "Experience Matters," aimed at helping Ukrainians return to the labor market, was announced on May 11.
