Another new profession has officially appeared in Ukraine - the Ministry of Veterans

The Ministry of Veterans' Affairs of Ukraine has introduced a new profession of "Specialist in Support of War Veterans and Demobilized Persons" to provide professional assistance and support to veterans and their families in the transition from military to civilian life.
The National Classifier of Occupations included information on the professional standard "Specialist in Support of War Veterans and Demobilized Persons". This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs, UNN reports .

It is noted that this professional standard was developed at the initiative of the Ministry of Veterans to introduce professional support for war veterans, their families and families of fallen soldiers in Ukraine on the way to transition from military service to civilian life.
All the needs that arise in the transition from military service to civilian life should find professional support and assistance, which can be provided by such a support specialist. First of all, we are talking about individual professional support aimed at helping our Defenders to receive rehabilitation, psychological, educational and other services,
In particular, a specialist in support of war veterans and demobilized persons will provide explanations on opportunities, rights, guarantees, benefits, obtaining public (electronic public), social, educational, rehabilitation, psychological and other services. For example, on how to prepare relevant documents, etc.

The National Classifier of Ukraine DK 003:2010 "Classifier of Professions" includes the profession "Specialist in Support of War Veterans and Demobilized Persons" (code KP 2446.2) in the section "Professionals", group "Professionals in the field of social protection of the population".
