Air monitoring in Ivano-Frankivsk region revealed no excesses of harmful substances after the attack on an industrial facility in Ternopil region. Checks were conducted in several settlements in the region.

Air monitoring in Ivano-Frankivsk region has not detected any exceedances of harmful substances after a hostile attack on an industrial facility in Ternopil region, Svitlana Onyshchuk, head of the Ivano-Frankivsk RMA, said on Tuesday, UNN reports.

Everything is calm in the Carpathian region. Air quality monitoring has shown that the state of the environment is within normal limits

The head of the RMA reminded that last night the enemy attacked an industrial facility in Ternopil region where fuel and lubricants were stored. "The harmful substances that arose during the combustion process were released into the atmosphere and there was a possibility of air pollution in neighboring regions," she added.

"Air quality checks have shown that no exceedances have been detected so far," Onyshchuk said.

"According to the results of air sampling in the regional center, in the villages of Byshiv and Nyzhniv, as well as between the villages of Potochyshche and Semakivtsi, no exceedance of the maximum permissible concentration of harmful substances, in particular, carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide, sulfur dioxide, formaldehyde, was recorded," Onyshchuk said at the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
