Air defense systems, equipment and financial support: the Ministry of Defense summarized the results of the NATO summit for Ukraine

At the NATO summit, Ukraine received significant military assistance from its partners, including state-of-the-art air defense systems, ammunition, and equipment to strengthen its defense capabilities against Russian aggression.
As a result of the NATO Summit, Ukraine will receive several new air defense systems, ammunition and various military equipment from its partners. This is stated in a statement by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, UNN reports.

It is noted that at the 75th anniversary NATO summit in Washington, the Ukrainian delegation led by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a number of important meetings with international partners, achieving significant results in strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities.
In particular, Ukraine will receive 5 state-of-the-art air defense batteries, including 4 Patriot batteries and 1 Samp/T battery from the United States, Germany, Romania, the Netherlands, and Italy. In addition, the United States, Canada, Norway, Spain, the United Kingdom and other allies will provide dozens of tactical air defense systems: NASAMS, HAWK, IRIS T-SLM, IRIS T-SLS and Gepard
In general, according to Rustem Umerov, Ukraine will receive both military and financial assistance worth hundreds of millions of dollars as part of the bilateral agreements signed at the highest level. In particular:
- US: a new $225 million military aid package that includes the Patriot system and missiles for it, missiles for NASAMS, artillery ammunition, and anti-tank missiles.
- Norway: will provide spare parts for Sea King helicopters, 6 F-16 aircraft, and NOK 1 billion ($93 million) to finance air defense systems. This is significant support.
- Canada: a new aid package worth CAD 500 million (USD 366 million).
- Australia: the largest military aid package since the start of the full-scale invasion, worth 250 million Australian dollars ($169 million).
- Netherlands: 300 million euros for the purchase of ammunition for F-16 fighters.
- Denmark: financed the production of 18 Bohdan artillery systems, becoming the first NATO country to directly fund Ukrainian arms and ammunition production.
- Lithuania: provided anti-drone systems and 5.56x45 ammunition. The total value of aid from Lithuania since the beginning of the Russian invasion is 1 billion euros.
- UK: plans to allocate 3 billion pounds annually for military support to Ukraine until 2030/31.
- New Zealand: a new military aid package worth NZD 6 million (USD 3.68 million).
- Germany: handed over a new military aid package that includes the Patriot air defense system, interceptors, artillery shells, drones, military engineering vehicles and other equipment.
In addition, according to Rustem Umerov, the International Fund for Ukraine (IFU) group, which unites 9 countries (UK, Netherlands, Australia, Denmark, Iceland, Lithuania, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden), announced a new contract for the purchase of 120,000 152 mm artillery rounds worth 300 million pounds.
